A Preliminary Estimate was performed to categorize existing conditions and make recommendations for new improvements. Work consisted of ADA modifications, demolition, new concessions and toilets, new electrical, plumbing, renovation of existing bleachers, new metal bleachers for band seating with new ramps, new visitor’s dressing and locker rooms. Work also included amending field utilities consisting of: Plumbing, electrical, civil work, demolition preparation prior to the alternations and additions.
Several ADA compliance Codes needed to be addressed regarding egress and ingress and existing toilet and concession facilities. The entire length of the concourses on both sides of the stadium were open to cold wind and blowing rain. New weather resistant fascia and sides to blend with the proposed elevators and press boxes were added to provide shelter during extreme weather conditions.
